Philanthropy Officer

The Philanthropy Officer is responsible for inspiring, broadening and deepening the support of individual donors to Planned Parenthood California Central Coast. The officer will execute the strategy and management of an assigned portfolio with the responsibility of maximizing unrestricted and restricted major gift funds raised annually and for longer-term efforts, such as capital, special gifts and endowment campaigns.

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills
• Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
• Strong PC skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and internet research
• Ability to interact with donors, volunteers, and the general public in a positive manner
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and professional ethics, including the ability to create personal relationships and communicate effectively delivering exceptional customer service to a variety of stakeholders
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• BA or AA plus equivalent experience
• Minimum of 4 years fundraising experience; including some major donor cultivation and solicitation
