Job Description
Plantible Foods is seeking a Director of Food Safety & Quality to lead the development and implementation of food safety management systems, ensuring compliance with global standards and regulatory frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance, with experience in GFSI-certified facilities and a passion for operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline
- 10+ years of experience in food safety and quality roles
- 5+ years of leadership experience
- Experience in GFSI-certified facilities such as FSSC 22000, SQF, or BRCGS
- Experience in food ingredients, alternative proteins, or biotech manufacturing is preferred
