Senior Manager, Marketing and Communications

Playground Global is a leading early-stage venture capital firm based in Palo Alto, with $1.2B+ under management. We're hiring a Senior Manager, Marketing and Communications to support our portfolio companies at key moments and to elevate Playground's voice and visibility across the deep tech ecosystem.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or media
• Exceptional writing and editorial instincts, with the ability to shape narratives across formats and audiences
• Strong project management skills; able to run multiple timelines and collaborators with clarity and follow-through
• Comfortable working directly with founders and senior leaders, exercising sound judgment and professionalism
• Fluent across modern storytelling platforms and media landscapes, from traditional press to emerging formats
• Curious, proactive, and technically literate—motivated by ownership and driven to make a measurable impact
