Requirements
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in pastry production
- Great attention to detail and creativity
- In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation, baking techniques and nutrition
- A certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking or a relevant field is an asset
- Bilingual (French & English), both spoken and written, is an asset
- Formal culinary training is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- Good ability to adapt and work with team members from different cultures
- Holds a food handler training certificate with MAPAQ (recommended)
- Capable of standing and walking for a long period of time
- Capable of lifting and carrying loads of up to 25lbs
- Capable of kneeling, pushing and pulling
- Comfortable using ladders, stairs and ramps
- Must have a valid Canadian working visa
