The Pastry Chef de Partie will be responsible for performing various tasks in the pastry kitchen, including preparing ingredients, baking cakes and pastries, and ensuring high standards of sanitation and hygiene. He will work under the supervision of the Pastry Chef or Assistant Pastry Chef and will be expected to maintain a clean and orderly workspace. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in a pastry department, with prior experience working in a similar kitchen area. He will be responsible for supervising staff, training new employees, and ensuring that all equipment and utensils are properly handled and maintained. He will also be expected to participate in the preparation of all baked goods, pastries, and desserts in accordance with established recipe cards and methods.
