Self-employed chef

We are looking for a self-employed chef to join our team at the Van der Valk Hotel Plaza Beach & Dive Resort on the beautiful island of Bonaire. As a self-employed chef, you will be responsible for creating the best smell and taste experience for our guests, working together with the Sous Chef, and maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene.

Requirements

• Full of energy and enjoy working with the team to ensure a smoothly running kitchen
• Friendly to guests and colleagues
• Have at least completed the training to become an Independent Working Chef
• Have at least 2 years of experience in luxury hotels
• Can be deployed flexibly, including in the evenings and/or on weekends
• Have relevant work experience in the catering industry
• Want to work as a chef for at least one year
