We are seeking an experienced regulatory compliance professional to lead the organisation’s compliance and risk control framework and ensure the institution operates in full compliance with Luxembourg regulatory requirements and applicable European payment regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in regulatory compliance or risk management within a regulated financial institution.
- At least 5 years in a senior compliance or regulatory control role.
- Experience in payments, electronic money institutions, fintech or card schemes is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Luxembourg financial regulation and CSSF supervisory expectations.
- Experience interacting with regulatory authorities and managing regulatory relationships.
- Strong understanding of internal control frameworks and governance structures.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
- Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to exercise sound and critical judgement.
- Strong integrity and discretion.
- Independent thinking and decision-making.
- Ability to communicate complex regulatory matters in a clear and pragmatic manner.
- Goal-driven, solution-oriented and focused on delivering results.
- Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken, additionally French or any other language would be an advantage.
