Rocket Engine Fluid System Design Engineer (m/f/d)

POLARIS Raumflugzeuge GmbH is looking for a Rocket Engine Fluid System Design Engineer to design and develop fluid systems for space transportation systems. The successful candidate will have experience in fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and rocket engine design, as well as proficiency in German and English.

Requirements

• Degree in Space Engineering, Aerospace Engineering (M.Sc.) or similar
• Minimum of 2 years of full-time experience
• Profound experience in the design and development of fluid systems, ideally in aerospace, space, high-pressure or cryogenic applications
• Profound understanding of the rocket engine design process and its subsystems
• Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and overall fluid system behavior
• Experience with 0D/1D simulation and analysis of fluid systems, including steady-state and transient behavior
