We are seeking a Business Development Representative to help us build the future of insurance in Canada and beyond. The successful candidate will engage and qualify inbound leads, operate with urgency to contact new leads, and work closely with the Advisor and Operations teams to optimize lead nurturing strategies and conversion processes.
Requirements
- Experience or strong interest in sales, business development or client-facing roles
- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, finance or any STEM field
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect quickly and adapt your approach
- Tech savvy and adaptable, comfortable learning new systems and making adjustments based on data and feedback
- Experience in engaging inbound or outbound leads is considered an asset
- Comfortable working in a CRM (we use HubSpot) and managing detailed follow-ups
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to take ownership of your performance
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to balance volume and quality
- A strong desire to grow from a BDR into an Advisory role
