Job Description
The Family Support Specialist II - Healthy Families position is responsible for working with at-risk families to promote and enhance their healthy development. The specialist will establish trusting relationships, promote positive parenting, and provide assistance in accessing community resources. The position requires a strong understanding of child development, adolescent issues, and adult development.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited high school or possess an acceptable equivalency diploma
- Two years of experience in family support work
- Valid driver's license and ability to provide transportation
- Bilingual abilities a plus
- Associate's degree in social services or a related field preferred
- Infant mental health endorsement preferred
