As a doula in the Pomelo network, you will educate and guide expecting and new families throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. You will play a vital role in improving birth outcomes by ensuring that families feel supported and empowered during this transformative time.
Requirements
- Completed certification / training as a birth and/or full spectrum doula from an organization recognized by the Virginia Certification Board
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with families from diverse backgrounds both virtually and in-person.
- Comfortable using tele health platforms, video conferencing tools, and electronic documentation systems.
- Able to work virtually and in-person, as well as evenings and weekends, to accommodate the needs of families.
