The Delivery Service Specialist's primary responsibility is providing direct to retail deliveries for a dedicated Metro customer, creating a positive customer experience through on-time, accurate deliveries and a positive customer interaction each and every time.
Requirements
- Operating a cargo van for deliveries on predetermined routes using a GeoTab GPS system
- Loading totes with product into the van for delivery
- Maintaining a clean delivery van and performing daily pre/post shift safety inspections
- Returning damaged or stale dated product and transporting unaccepted product back to the DC
- Accommodating rush deliveries and/or changes to the scheduled delivery route
