Vice President, Accounting Advisory

Portage Point Partners is a rapidly growing consultancy that offers a unique opportunity for a Vice President, Accounting Advisory to shape strategy, influence outcomes, and drive impact. The role involves leading and supporting client engagements across core controllership and finance operations, conducting detailed financial analysis, and providing technical and strategic accounting guidance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration or a related field
• Active CPA license required
• Six plus years of progressive experience in financial consulting, advisory services or audit
• Deep understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficient in financial modeling, analysis and accounting treatment evaluation
• Hands on experience with finance technologies such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, Blackline or FloQast
• Familiarity with analytics and automation tools and interest in leveraging emerging technologies
• Proven ability to lead complex engagements, manage multiple priorities and deliver executive-ready results
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to thrive in lean, fast-moving teams
