Assembler

The Assembler ensures quality by following standard work/process instructions and identifying any potential risks to product quality. They follow blueprints, work instructions, or diagrams to assemble products using various tools and equipment. Assemblers may work in manufacturing or production environments and may be required to perform quality checks and ensure that products meet specifications.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Equivalent Diploma
• Ability to read a tape measure (including conversions from fraction to decimal and conversely from decimal to fraction and metric to imperial)
• Basic knowledge of a variety of hand/power tools
• Lift up to 50lbs using proper lifting techniques
• Basic computer knowledge
• Basic command of the English language, both written and verbal
• Prior ability or interest in building or repairing mechanical components
• Read and understand spec sheets and follow proper use of hardware by spec requirements
• Basic knowledge of one line and three-line drawings
• Safety training certificates
