Estimator

Power Construction is a General Contractor that is consistently regarded as one of Chicago's largest and most respected. We're a builder at heart, and we're looking for an Estimator to join our team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a construction related field
• 0-6 years of experience/knowledge of construction estimating
• High degree of analytical skills
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and processes
• Plan & specification interpretation
• Strong organizational and planning skills and ability to prioritize and multitask
• Possess strong ethics
• Communication skills (verbal & written)
• Ability to delegate effectively
• Knowledge in WinEst, OST, SmartBid, BuildingConnected, Excel and Word
• Understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project activities
• Superior communication and interpersonal (tact, diplomacy, influence, et.) skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and complete numerous projects in a timely manner
