The Design Manager provides structural design and technical support to the Technical Design team and Projects Site. This position is responsible for driving and finalizing key aspects of design, assessing buildability, and ensuring the smooth flow of detailed information throughout project lifecycles.
Requirements
- Review all specifications, drawings and bill requirements to define all architectural requirements for the project.
- Assist in the interpretation of architectural design standards established by local jurisdictions.
- Prepare, review and evaluate contract technical specification for architectural elements of capital improvement projects.
- Administer and provide concepts for improving plans according to circumstances and resolving any related problems that may arise during construction.
- Stay abreast of innovative developments and incorporates these advancements in the development and design of new forming systems/equipment intended to expand productivity, capabilities and market share.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships to enhance Company’s ability to procure projects, reduce risk, and ensure operational efficiency.
- Work in cooperation with other office personnel to negotiate and execute sales contracts consistent with policies.
- Contribute to the projects safety goals by reducing hazards during the design planning state ensuring that all formwork systems meet construction and safety standards.
- Assist with the development and coordination of material and equipment schedules and promote their efficient use.
- Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies
