The Design Manager is responsible for providing structural design and technical support to the organization's Technical Design team and Projects Site. This role involves driving and finalizing key aspects of design, assessing buildability, value engineering, and liaising with various stakeholders to ensure the smooth flow of detailed information throughout project lifecycles.
Requirements
- Review all specifications, drawings, and bill requirements to define architectural requirements for the project.
- Assist in the interpretation of architectural design standards established by local jurisdictions.
- Prepare, review, and evaluate contract technical specification for architectural elements of capital improvement projects.
- Administer and provide concepts for improving plans according to circumstances and resolving any related problems that may arise during construction.
- Stay abreast of innovative developments and incorporate these advancements in the development and design of new forming systems/equipment.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships to enhance Company's ability to procure projects, reduce risk, and ensure operational efficiency.
- Work in cooperation with other office personnel to negotiate and execute sales contracts consistent with policies.
- Contribute to the projects safety goals by reducing hazards during the design planning state.
- Assist with the development and coordination of material and equipment schedules and promote their efficient use.
- Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution.
