The Facilities Management Engineer oversees the workers who maintain and repair electrical, plumbing, ventilation and other building systems. Coordinates and integrates maintenance engineering functions with those of the design, maintenance, engineering, and operations departments.
Requirements
- Monitor repair defect issues for plant, equipment and buildings
- Ensure speedy response for all “on-call” maintenance job
- Maintain and keep records readily available for viewing
- Document recording all repair works and associated details
- Facilitate renovation undertaken must be evidenced by documentation
- Ensure that posted schedule of routine check-up must be readily displayed
- Conduct actual site visit and inspection
- Ensure in the workshop that all group members use PPE
- Oversee and schedule maintenance on all plant processing equipment
- Oversee maintenance goal setting, activity scheduling, work performance
- Perform or direct engineering evaluations and studies
- Conduct on-job-training to direct reports
- Monitor performance and provides coaching for performance improvement
