Senior Draftsman

The Senior Draftsman organizes, plans, maintains and supervises the documentation of structural drawings, submittals and schedules. Creates and reviews high quality production engineering shop drawings for standard and custom fixtures.

Requirements

• Prepare detailed technical drawings, plans, and diagrams using computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards, regulations, and project specifications
• Provide guidance, support, and training to junior draftsmen
• Ensure drawings adhere to industry standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements
• Perform quality checks on drafts, identifying errors, inconsistencies, and discrepancies
• Organize and maintain drawing files, records, and documentation
• Oversee the production of drawings, including printing, plotting, and distribution
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate design changes, resolve conflicts, and ensure design coherence
• Stay updated on CAD software advancements, drafting techniques, and industry trends
• Support the implementation of HSE initiatives
