Senior Draftsman

The Senior Draftsman is responsible for organizing and supervising the documentation of structural drawings, submittals, and schedules in coordination with architecture and MEP works. They also create and review high-quality production engineering shop drawings for standard and custom fixtures.

Requirements

• Prepare detailed technical drawings, plans, and diagrams using computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards, regulations, and project specifications
• Provide guidance and support to junior draftsmen
• Ensure drawings adhere to industry standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements
• Perform quality checks on drafts and implement corrective measures
• Organize and maintain drawing files, records, and documentation
• Oversee the production of drawings, including printing, plotting, and distribution
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate design changes and resolve conflicts
• Stay updated on CAD software advancements, drafting techniques, and industry trends
