Job Description
The Field Applications Engineer will provide application support in India - south territory, and will be based out of Bangalore. Responsibilities include providing application and design support, visiting customers, and supporting key customers with technical support and demo boards.
Requirements
- Strong fundamental SMPS knowledge and its various topologies
- Strong Knowledge and experience in AC/DC and DC/DC SMPS design, testing and analysis
- Knowledge in designing magnetic components including transformers, Common Mode chokes / Inductors etc.
- Knowledge in working on BLDC Motor drives
- Knowledge in working with embedded controller along with Power Electronics
- Ability to debug designs and recommend changes
- Strong knowledge on design / simulation tools
- Ability to do accurate BOM level analysis of competitors products vs. PI
- Ability to build good working relationships with customer, distributors team and colleagues
- Contribution to Sales strategies
- Strong communication skill, both verbal and in writing
- Presentation Skill essential
