Clinical assistant/Associate Professor

The College of Nursing at Prairie View A&M University seeks candidates for the position of Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor of Nursing. The successful candidate will have strong clinical knowledge and expertise, with the ability to teach across the curriculum and demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in teaching.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in nursing, in an area specialization and from an accredited institution
• Current unencumbered licensure or eligibility for licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Texas
• Appropriate national certification in specialty area, if an advanced practice nurse
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to working with students and colleagues of different backgrounds
