Job Description
Premier Orthopaedics is seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our team in West Chester, Kennett Square, West Grove, PA. The Medical Assistant/Clinical Assistant is responsible for assisting providers with patient care and acts as the coordinator of care for patients before, during, and after office visits.
Requirements
- Facilitate communication between patients and providers
- Prepare patients for visits
- Maintain exam room cleanliness
- Monitor biohazard and sharps containers
- Assist providers in preparing prescriptions
- Retrieve and respond to voicemails
- Perform laboratory tests
- Maintain medical supply inventory
- Ensure patients receive education regarding medical treatment
- Create and promote a positive patient experience
