Job Description
We are a fast growing, forward thinking provider for all packaging needs, seeking a Logistics Coordinator to assign & dispatch freight to Drivers, oversee routes and bill of ladings and timeline for the Drivers.
Requirements
- Aligns the day’s freight with available drivers
- Dispatches individual drivers with assigned loads, routes, bill of ladings, and timelines
- Freight scheduling
- Pick ticket and load tags
- Tracks individual driver hours available and log book activity
- Posts all bills of lading meeting the requirements and forwards all discrepant bills of lading to the Shipping Manager
- Daily communication with Drivers, customers and Management team
