Development Manager (Front-End/ Mobile)

This role is eligible for our hybrid work model. As a Dev Manager in the Product Operating Model (POM), your focus is on building and enabling a high-performing engineering team. You will be responsible for team leadership, delivery execution, and alignment with product objectives. You will hire, mentor, and guide developers, ensure engineering best practices are followed, and act as the critical connector between Product Managers, Architects, and Developers.

Requirements

• Hire, mentor, and coach developers to grow skills and careers
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Allocate team members effectively across initiatives to maximize delivery capacity
• Oversee timelines, deliverables, and commitments to ensure on-time completion
• Facilitate daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Identify and remove blockers, escalating issues where needed to maintain flow
• Act as the key bridge between Product and Development teams
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers to balance business outcomes with technical feasibility
• Partner with Architects and Engineering Leads to ensure alignment on design, standards, and long-term maintainability
• Ensure solutions meet defined quality, security, and performance standards
• Champion engineering best practices, including testing, CI/CD, and code reviews
• Promote a culture of building reliable, scalable, and secure systems
• Identify opportunities to improve team velocity, predictability, and morale
• Support adoption of the Product Operating Model practices
• Partner with enablement and ops teams on tooling, metrics, and automation to enhance delivery
