Development Manager (Java)

Development Manager (Full-stack) role at Priceline, responsible for leading the design and delivery of scalable, high-performance applications, driving architecture decisions, and mentoring teams. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java backend systems, modern frontend technologies, and experience with machine learning and generative AI technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent practical experience
• Proven leader in hiring, mentoring, coaching and developing engineering talent, including performance management
• Strong expertise in Java backend systems and modern frontend technologies such as React and Next.js
• Ability to drive the development of high scale systems and system integrations
• Illustrated history of living the values necessary to Priceline: Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability and Trust
• Unquestionable integrity and ethics is essential
