Software Engineer Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our engineering teams. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on growing and supporting a team of engineers to develop secure, scalable microservices and mobile/web solutions for our healthcare platform.

What You Will Do

Lead a team of 5–8 software engineers across backend and mobile app development, provide mentorship, technical direction, and career support for engineers at all levels, and oversee development of platform microservices and Flutter-based mobile applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field
• 2+ years of engineering management experience leading remote or hybrid teams
• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience with clear progression into technical leadership roles
• Experience in the U.S. healthcare technology sector, including EHR system integrations and regulatory compliance
• Expertise in microservices architecture, distributed systems, and cloud-native technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, AWS)
• Familiarity with mobile development using Flutter and an understanding of secure software development practices
