Job Description
The Director of Behavioral Health is a Registered Nurse responsible for managing the Behavioral Health Program at Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital. They will supervise staff, develop programmatic plans, and ensure compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in psychiatric or mental health nursing, at least 2 years of experience in psychiatric nursing, and 2 years of management experience in Behavioral Health Care.
Requirements
- Current and valid Registered Nurse Licensure
- Master's degree in psychiatric or mental health nursing (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years' experience in psychiatric nursing
- Minimum of 2 years management experience with Behavioral Health Care programs
- BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
- Working knowledge of mental health laws and practice standards
- Knowledge of the continuum of care for behavioral health treatment
- Excellent verbal, written, and management skills
