Job Description
We are seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist, also referred to as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP II), to provide respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as directed by medical and cardiopulmonary directors. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and documenting care for patients based on their specific needs. This is a per diem position, meaning work is available as needed.
Requirements
- Current State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
- Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the AHA or ARC
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the AHA
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program certificate (preferred)
- Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree (preferred)
- Two years of acute care experience (preferred)
