Job Description
We are seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to assess, plan, implement, and document care for patients with respiratory issues. The RRT will provide treatments such as inhalation therapies, oxygen therapy, and aerosol medications, and may be part of a rapid response team in emergencies.
Requirements
- Current State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or obtained within three (3) months of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certified from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
- Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the AHA or ARC certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the AHA certification or obtained within 60 days of hire
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program certificate (preferred)
- Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree (preferred)
- Two (2) years of acute care experience (preferred)
