Mortgage Closer

The Mortgage Closer is responsible for coordinating all phases of loan closing and funding, preparing loan closing packages, and communicating with all parties involved in the transaction.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or relevant field preferred
• Required to possess all applicable licenses
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Loan closer/funder or similar role
• Professional and effective verbal and written communications
• In-depth knowledge of closing procedures, loan processes, documentation and current regulatory requirements affecting mortgage loans
• High degree of detail orientation
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Proficient with MS Office
