Job Description
The Post Closer will help closed loans get to purchase status expeditiously in a timely and professional manner while protecting the institution's credibility, demonstrating knowledge of relevant rules and regulations.
Requirements
- Execute the loan funding process
- Collect and deliver all necessary documentation
- Ensure all government products and obtain guaranty certificates
- Register closed loans and sold loans with Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems (MERS)
- Send servicing transfer letters to borrowers
- Obtain trailing documentation
- Process purchase advice forms
- Payoff warehouse line
- Deliver and request original notes
- Ensure compliance with regulations and law requirements
- Clear any investor conditions of sale
- Liaison between operations personnel
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations and Bank policies and procedures
