Mechanical Superintendent (Solar EPC)

The Mechanical Superintendent provides input and technical expertise for mechanical construction work on utility-scale solar EPC projects. Provides technical owner correspondence support and on-site supervision of Field Engineers and General Foremen to ensure a safe, productive, and quality job is attained and costs are controlled in the construction discipline for the project site.

Requirements

• Prior Solar EPC mechanical construction oversight
• Must have a valid driver license and an acceptable motor vehicle driving record (MVR)
• Ability to supervise many employees
• Thorough knowledge of tools and equipment uses and limitations
• Good communication skills to deal with owners and employees
• Possess a solid understanding of job costing
• Relocation to community of project site is required
• May be required to become a qualified individual in pursuit of a company contract licensing, or journeyman or master electrician license
• Ability to read and understand prints and contract documents
• Knows and understand the required federal and state codes for the project
