The Mechanical Quality Inspector is responsible for First Article Inspection and ensuring product conformity to established requirements.
Requirements
- Fundamental mechanical and mathematical inspection knowledge
- Familiarity with inspection hand gauging including micrometers, thread gauges, dial indicators, calipers, height gauges, etc.
- Robust knowledge of GD&T, blueprint, and spec interpretation
- Ability to create test plans and cases from specifications or verbal communications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- 5+ years of experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
