Job Description
Printpack is seeking a qualified Electronics Controls Technician to work in Villa Rica, Georgia. The role involves installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical and electronic equipment, as well as working with control system hardware and software design.
Requirements
- Knowledge and/or experience with control system hardware and software design
- Knowledge of electrical codes (NEC)
- Some experience as Electronics Technician or similar competencies
- Understanding of electrical/electronic systems/troubleshooting
- Basic ability to work and troubleshoot PLC's, ladder logic, and communication systems
- Understand and manipulate industrial communications
- Troubleshoot Servo Motors
- Troubleshoot AC/DC drives
- Basic knowledge and understanding in process control systems such as: temperature control, pressure control, flow control and PID control loops
- Knowledge and/or experience with troubleshooting basic electrical circuits
- Ability to read mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic drawings
- Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
