Rigid Extruder Operator- Nights

Printpack Rigid is seeking a Rigid Extruder Operator to fill a position in their Newport News, VA facility on night shift. The role involves operating and managing extrusion equipment and processes to ensure efficient production, quality standards, and timely delivery of customer orders.

Requirements

• Set up and/or operate equipment
• Audit process parameters and document correct inputs
• Perform basic operator Preventative Maintenance
• Collaborate with plant leadership
• Perform quality tests and checks
• Perform product changeovers
• Recognize and respond to material handling issues
• Identify machine issues and troubleshoot
• Maintain compliance with food safety and GMP
• Read and follow production schematics
• Foster an environment focused on safety
