Cashier (part-time)

The Cashier will manage all customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling, payment processing, and maintaining a balanced cash drawer. The role requires good communication, time management skills, and a customer-oriented attitude. The cashier will also perform other duties as assigned and contribute to a positive store atmosphere.

Requirements

• Process customer purchase transactions using point-of-sale systems
• Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
• Collect proper forms of payment and provide change accurately
• Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets
• Cross-sell products and introduce new ones
• Perform open and closing duties as needed
• Resolve customer complaints
• Greet customers when entering or leaving the store
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
• Assist with duties in other areas of the store when needed
• Handle merchandise returns and exchanges
• Perform all other duties as assigned
