Profluent is an AI-first protein design company seeking a hands-on engineering manager to lead the Lab Informatics Platform team, developing systems for scientists to design experiments, track samples, and make experimental data usable for analysis and machine learning.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• 2+ years of experience managing or leading engineers
• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong technical leadership skills
• Proficiency with Python, backend development, databases, APIs, and modern software engineering workflows
