Accounting Specialist

We are looking for an Accounting specialist for a well-established international company with long-standing operations in Slovenia as part of a broader regional and global organization. Requirements

• Preparing and maintaining VAT-related accounting records and supporting documentation
• Active participation in monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• Preparation of statutory financial statements
• Collection, analysis and monitoring of financial data, variances and trends
• Preparation of KPI reports and other financial analyses
• Management and control of the general ledger and supporting accounting records
• Monitoring of costs, accruals and deviations
• Accounting for fixed assets, including depreciation
• Participation in internal audits and the annual financial close
• Preparation of ad-hoc reports, budgets and forecasts for projects and investments
