The Assistant Director of the residential program is responsible for managing the flow of clients into and out of the residential facility, developing and maintaining good working relationships with client referral sources, and monitoring treatment planning and charting of residential clients.
Requirements
- Masters Degree in a mental health related field
- At least three years' experience in a community mental health program, including supervisory experience
- Specific experience in residential treatment and/or knowledge of social rehabilitation
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, clients, and other providers
- Demonstrate good judgment and emotional stability
- Ability to negotiate several flights of stairs and lift 20 lb. packages
- Ongoing clearance with the California State Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division
- Training certification in basic First Aid and CPR
