Join a team of professionals who work on projects domestically and internationally. This role is contingent upon the award of a project to support the National Park Service in delivering new housing for park staff at Devils Tower National Monument.
Requirements
- Provide technical assistance and support to the CO during construction
- Read, interpret and understand construction contract plans and specifications
- Arrange, attend and facilitate meetings, including weekly meetings at the project site
- Perform on-site inspections and document findings
- Inspect the work of the construction contractor for progress, workmanship, quality and conformance with contract documents, applicable building codes and safety standards
- Review, analyze, and assist in preparing cost estimates
- Review and process Construction Contractor's RFIs and assist in resolution
- Minimum four (4) year Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, Construction Management or other related field
- Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant construction and/or engineering work experience in construction management
- Professional Civil Engineer Licensure (PE) or Registered Architect license
- OSHA 30 construction safety training preferred
