Construction Management Representative role supporting the National Park Service on the Repair and Raise Seawall Project at Castillo de San Marcos National Monument in St. Augustine, Florida.
Requirements
- Provide technical assistance and support to CO during construction
- Read, interpret and understand the construction contract plans and specifications
- Arrange, attend and facilitate a variety of meetings, including weekly meetings at the project site
- Perform on-site inspections, including mock-ups, preparatory, initial, follow-up, and post-construction inspections
- Inspect the work of the construction contractor for progress, workmanship, quality and conformance with contract documents
- Review contractor's baseline and progress schedules
- Draft project related correspondence for NPS to review and issuance
- Review, analyze, and assist in preparing cost estimates
- Review and process Construction Contractor's RFIs and assist in resolution
- Maintain a valid driver's license
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment on large, complex construction projects
