Construction Management Representative

Construction Management Representative role supporting the National Park Service on the Repair and Raise Seawall Project at Castillo de San Marcos National Monument in St. Augustine, Florida.

Requirements

• Provide technical assistance and support to CO during construction
• Read, interpret and understand the construction contract plans and specifications
• Arrange, attend and facilitate a variety of meetings, including weekly meetings at the project site
• Perform on-site inspections, including mock-ups, preparatory, initial, follow-up, and post-construction inspections
• Inspect the work of the construction contractor for progress, workmanship, quality and conformance with contract documents
• Review contractor's baseline and progress schedules
• Draft project related correspondence for NPS to review and issuance
• Review, analyze, and assist in preparing cost estimates
• Review and process Construction Contractor's RFIs and assist in resolution
• Maintain a valid driver's license
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment on large, complex construction projects
