Construction Management Representative

Join Project Solutions, Inc. as a Construction Management Representative for a rehabilitation project on the Manitou Islands in Michigan. This project involves a complete rehabilitation of 35 historic structures, two ferry docks, and the associated utility infrastructure.

Requirements

• Provides technical assistance and support to CO during construction.
• Reads, interprets, and understands the construction contract plans and specifications
• Arranges, attends, and facilitates a variety of meetings, including weekly meetings at the project site.
• Documents issues encountered and problems experienced with the construction contractor.
• Reviews contractor's baseline and progress schedules.
• Drafts project related correspondence for NPS to review.
• Understands and documents inspections during and post construction as well as mock-up inspections
• Inspects the work of the construction contractor for progress, workmanship, quality and conformance with contract documents, applicable building codes and safety standards
• Delivers, reports, and reviews evaluations, design work, etc. to CO.
• Reviews and processes construction contractor's RFIs and cost proposals
• Assists in resolution, draft response, tracking, and follow up.
