The Construction Management Representative will provide technical assistance and support to the CO during construction, read and interpret construction contract plans and specifications, and coordinate various meetings. The role requires a minimum of 10 years of practical field experience in construction management, architecture, or engineering.
Requirements
- Provide technical assistance and support to CO during construction
- Read, interpret and understand the construction contract plans and specifications
- Arrange, coordinate, attend, and facilitate a variety of meetings
- Document issues encountered and problems experienced with the construction contractor
- Review contractor's baseline and progress schedules
- Draft project related correspondence
- Inspect the work of the construction contractor
- Deliver reports, reviews, evaluations, and design work to Government Contracting Officer
- Review and process Construction Contractor's RFIs and assist in resolution
- Coordinate on-site staff assignment
- Provide technical review of proposed modifications to the contract
- Maintain records and files of correspondence and site conference reports
- Coordinate with the construction contractor's quality control personnel
