Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineer sought to develop, design, and implement new product designs of automated machinery. Candidate shall have the ability to create new designs, modify existing designs, and provide technical support to customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology (BSME or BSMET), or similar engineering or technical degree from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent industry experience in mechanical design required.
• At least 3 years’ experience in design of automated industrial machinery.
• Experience using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor and/or SolidWorks.
• General knowledge of manufacturing processes, techniques, and practices.
• Strong analytical skills, ability to utilize knowledge to provide creative design ideas.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Desire to be hands-on with equipment building & design, ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
