Job Description
We are seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to develop, design, and implement new product designs of automated machinery. The ideal candidate will have experience in design of automated industrial machinery, knowledge of manufacturing processes, and strong analytical skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology (BSME or BSMET), or similar engineering or technical degree from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent industry experience in mechanical design
- At least 3 years’ experience in design of automated industrial machinery
- Experience using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor and/or SolidWorks
- General knowledge of manufacturing processes, techniques, and practices
- Strong analytical skills, ability to utilize knowledge to provide creative design ideas
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Desire to be hands-on with equipment building & design, ability to work both independently and in a team environment
