Operations Research Assistant

ProSidian Consulting is seeking an Operations Research Assistant to support an engagement for an agency of the United States government responsible for consumer protection in the financial sector. The Operations Research Assistant will assist the Operations Research Analyst with in-depth research of consumer financial behavior and financial education using focus groups, surveys, and interviews and compile that research into comprehensive reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university in a relevant field
• At least 1 year of experience providing support for survey research, sampling, statistical analysis, and other related subjects
• Experience in data collection, analysis, and written reports summarizing data collected
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to work effectively both individually and as a member of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to propose possible resolutions to complex managerial or operational problems
• Demonstrated expertise in knowledge management
• Demonstrated proactivity, attention to detail, working within deadlines, and ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills, English verbal, written, editing, research, and verbal communication skills
• Excellent project management and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
• Understanding and proficiency with business tools and technology, including Microsoft Office
