Sr. Software Engineer, Frontend

As a Senior Frontend Engineer on the Personal Loans team, you will own the borrower-facing experiences that drive Prosper's core business -- from rate check through funding.

Requirements

• BS in EE/CS with 8+ years of experience or MS in EE/CS or other applicable disciplines with 6+ years of experience
• Deep proficiency in React, React Native, and TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with GraphQL (Apollo) and RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with monorepos (pnpm, Turborepo), bundlers (Vite), and CI/CD pipelines
• Disciplined approach to automated testing using tools like Jest, Playwright, or Detox
• Active use of AI coding assistants (Cursor, Copilot)
• A sharp eye for UX/UI polish
• A proactive, high-accountability approach to driving projects to completion
• Excellence in cross-functional communication
• Experience with Expo and mobile deployment workflows
• Familiarity with cross-platform styling systems
• Background in fintech, lending, or other regulated industries
• Experience with feature flagging, A/B testing, and data-driven product development
