Job Description
DIRECTV is seeking a Project Manager for the Enterprise project management team to manage and report on schedules, project scope, assets, and overall project organization, and to lead a cross-functional team in a highly matrixed organization.
Requirements
- Manage and report on schedules, project scope, assets, and overall project organization
- Take point on key projects and issues and drive them to resolution
- Manage and become a respected leader of a cross-functional team in a highly matrixed organization
- Actively monitor project risks and scope creep
- Communicate and document project status and strategic recommendations
- Conduct project pre and post mortems and proactively identify opportunities for improvement
- Clarify and communicate project objectives and success criteria to stakeholders and team members
