SAS Lead Developer

Lead SAS Developer for a FORTUNE 500 multi-state health care organization. Responsible for developing highly optimized, enterprise-quality, risk/analytic software using best SAS programming practices. Must have 7+ years of SAS programming experience and leadership skills.

Requirements

• 7+ years of solid SAS programming experience
• 3+ years of programming experience with C/C++, Java, or other object-oriented programming languages
• Experience designing and developing large-scale systems or calculation-intensive processes
• Experience with source code control systems such as CVS, subversion, or git
• Familiar with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodology
• Strong leadership skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated, results oriented, and capable of independent and critical thinking and problem solving
• Team player
